  We have an older home, built in the 1930's. It has original straight grain fir floors. They have been refinished once and it was a very poor job. We decided this year we would invest in having the floors refinished in our home. I reached out to Ron's Hardwood Floors and received estimates. I was happy with the time given to create an estimate and come up with a game plan of being able to do the floors. With two thirds of the house being hard wood, there is no way we could have it all done at once. WE broke it down to two different times. We were thrilled at how well the floors turned out. Given that the house is as old as it is, we still have what I call character marks. We has them do some additional work to replace some damaged areas as well as fix one of the kick boards on the stairwell. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did. They cleaned up after they were done and that is always nice. We had a few spots that needed touched up after the floors were finished and once the top coat cured they were back and did the touch up work. They stand behind their work and do a great job. If you are thinking about having floors refinished or even new floors put in, I would be sure to talk with them. It is great that we have someone that is local that can do this type of work.
